Awesome color Sandy. I've always wanted to capture an image like this for myself.

Sandy,

ME TOO! When and where???

Great vineyard image. I would say this is what they would consider a "late harvest" and I'm betting those grapes are quite sweet at this point.

Excellent capture Sandy.

When? now thru maybe the next 2 weeks. I always aim for the last week of Oct thru the first 2 of Nov, but nature has other ideas sometimes. You can always call one of the well-known vineyards and ask how the color is.

Where? Just drive around and look for nice grapes! Most vineyards are not fenced and right next to the small roads. I don't think anyone minds pictures, as long as you don't go into the vineyards and trample things.

Ther are also some nice vineyards in the American Canyon area and Sonoma, of course. Don't know anything about those in Pleasanton or S. Ca.

Well done, Sandy. The colors are great. Thanks for the information about when
and where to go.

I really like the way those blue grapes standout against those red leaves. Well seen!

P.S. I bet that tasted delicious.
