And away we go!
I'm too tired to offer much in the way of captions, so I'll just vomit up some photos and hope you all enjoy them with minimal comment from me.

#1: Near Cañon City

Overlooking Cañon City, camera white balance set to auto.

A study in how jpeg compression can kill a photo when there's lots of minute detail.

Finally (for now), one from this evening in the Wet Mtns.

Great photos Todd. I'm drawn to the third. Great choice of white balance. I like the layering of the image and the detail in the foreground trees. Real dreamy with the fog. Looks like you guys at least got some color in CO. Didn't get much in MT.

Again you show why folks here call you the cloud master. Great work with the foggy conditions to get the layered compositions. Very nice feeling of depth in the images. As for your question between 2 and 3. I would say it is a toss-up, but I would fall on the side of the warmer colors in 2.

My experience is that fall colors and our 200K file limit do not mix well. I run into lots of compression issues in this season. But I still think 4 and 5 are mighty sweet!

I'm partial to #2 over #3. The warmth is more appealing to me. I really Iike #4 too.

#2 and #4 are awesome, Todd! I agree w/ Mel about compression issues in the fall. It's a bummer.

#2 is really really nice. #1 is a close second for me, but I like them all.

2, followed by 4. Nice stuff and extra credit for sharing your clouds with Stan.

I really love number 3.

Wow--i should have spent more time in the fog, but the Wets were awesome even above the clouds. #2 and #3 i think are phenomenal, even for you! I cant pick, theyre both great :toast:

All are excellent as usual with your command of clouds firmly in place.
