One of my favorite Munising area falls is on the Rock River, around ten miles west of town. It's a bit more out of the way than some of the others in the area, but well worth the half hour (or so) hike out, especially on beautiful autumn overcast days.
There are several good vantage points and a lot of options here. I liked the leaf covered rock in the FG and the low angle/pov. Comments Welcome.

Nice pov of the falls Brian, but since you stated that you liked the leaf covered rock I feel you should have included a bit of negative space in front of the rock and not crop the tip out. Just MHO.
I like it Brian, like the FG rock as well but seems to be a little to much on the right side, not knowing what there is there to work with it still is a great shot of a nice fall.

Nice use of the rock/leaves. Did you try a vertical/portrait?

Nice image. The one time I was there it was midafternoon on what started to be a beautiful overcast day but mysteriously cleared up.
I always wondered what it would look like shot well and now I know.
Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the comments. As always, they are much appreciated. Mike, I don't think I tried any verticals here because the trees above the falls were showing white overcast skies and in this location I was up against a fallen log (right behind me) which hindered a lot of potential FG options. But I can see verticals working at this location from a number of perspectives.
Nice image, Brian. I like the hint of near/far that you've captured here.
The one time I was at this waterfall (with Dan), six years ago, it was bright and sunny (and windy), which meant the only thing I did was mess with tight, pseudo-abstract comps, of the water alone.
