And now.....
for something completely different

Mycena sp.

50D, 180/3.5, Benbo 1 + BH1
ISO100, 1/8 @ f16, manual,incident reading, silver reflector
ACR 5.3 + resize & sharpen CS4

Hi,

Having spent the best part of a month with the Deer, today I went on a fungus foray... still have to get a proper ID here but am pretty confident it is a Mycena species...

All the best & hope you all had a good weekend.

Nice shot, but I can’t help thinking that a portrait format would have better, particularly as it would have afforded you more space at the top where I find it rather tight. As I said, nice shot well seen and taken.

Hi Neil,

Cheers, have those as well... still processing so may post a portrait later... did feel the same about the tightness atop after I posted...

All the best

Nice one Phil.

What are the brown spikes running along the bottom of the image ?

Andy,

Fruiting bodies of the surrounding Moss... Funghi and moss often seem to have a 'symbiotic' arrangement.

Eye level seems to be today's theme
