Rhinoceros beetle
Very very rare here in cheese land. So lucky to find a male AND a female together. They have not long because after mating they die. But still quite warm here so I think they will live for a while.

A stunning capture.
I miss that lens, had to sell mine to fund the 300 :frown:

Really like this shot...colours are nice on the beetle and the background just fits/sits nicely overall. Great subject to photograph.

No nits for me Edwin, but perhaps a tad more room at the top?

Super...love the lichen and the great subject.. two very minor nits... I would prefer just a touch more room around, and if possible just moving a shade to the right as the beetle 'appears' to be facing ever so slightly away from you... a super capture of a rarity.

Excellent, as previously mentioned a tad more room around the beetle perhaps; a lovely shot!
