It was great to see everyone at Petit Jean...I hope you enjoyed the weekend as much as I did. Matthew's pork loin was excellent, as were the fried potatoes, salad, green beans, corn on the cob, and rolls that Dottie and Karla made last night. Thanks to all for your contribution to another great CSNP gathering!
Here is a shot from this morning that I really liked, but am not sure if it would appeal to others. Orton layer (reduced to 30% opacity) applied to make the color pop a little more.

Beautiful work Bill! Looks like I can reach out and touch those pretty leaves.

I like it Bill. I have been seeing those berries everywhere and thinking I need to shoot them but just haven't. Glad someone did.

I like the crop, the busy texture and even the low contrast. I can see how some people might not appreciate this as much as some of your other work, but I like it.

A very nice composition, Bill. Did you take this from the first overlook on Saturday afternoon?

Definitely a lot different than what I expected you to post, but lovely just the same.

John said it, an interesting and pleasing combination of colors and textures. Sorry I missed the gathering, it sounds like everyone had a great time. Thanks for all your work pulling this together!

Gale, I stopped by the smokehouse, but Milancy was putting in some pansies, so I'll probably go back later.
