Made a run to the Pine creek mill today, looking for some color, very little to find. Tried a couple different views but figured if there wasn't any color I'd try B&W. The rain took what leaves were colored, and I was just ahead of the rain today and didn't get an early enough start. Rain again so probably no harvest for tommorrow. will see if I can catch something interesting somewhere.

The B/W is very nice, old antique feel. Perfect for the weather conditions. Shutter speed may be a bit slow, for the water boil being the primary white. Hope it dries up some for harvest, Kendall.
The only shortcoming, as I see it, is that the water below the dam is completely blown, which is really seizing the eye. This might have been a good time to experiment with blending or HDR (both of which can work very well in monochrome, incidentally).
Looks like a very interesting place, and I think you've captured that fairly well here. Since the sky's blown, I think I'd try and reduce its presence as much as possible with a crop from the top. Other than that I like the small details and leading lines
