Hey everyone,I had a great time at the gathering with everyone. I have spent the day at the chiropractor. My back started hurting again last night real bad. Not very smart on my part having this happen right in the middle of fall color.
This is one of my favorite images from falling water this fall. Please let me know what you think about it.

Hey Gale, sorry to hear about your back. There's nothing quite as annoying and painful as a muscle spasm, and they seem to take forever to work themselves out. Hope you get to feeling better soon. Did you go out to Pedestal Rocks/Kings Bluff yesterday?
The color in this image is really nice, and the water was perfect. I do wish there was more at the bottom of the frame - it feels kinda cutoff. The more I look at it though, the better I like it. It probably feels cutoff to me because my shot from this location included the curve in the stream below where you were standing...I'll probably love this after a few more looks!
Was this taken as a multi shot pano and stitched together or cropped as a pano? Just curious. I agree with Bill that I would like to see more. But the colors are beautiful and the water is great! Excellent exposure. I can see this hanging on a wall.
Nice colors Gale. At first it seemed cut off, but after looking a couple times it seems okay now. I hope your back gets better, I may head out tomorrow and I may end up taking the entire week off. If you start feeling good enough to go out let me know.
Matt, after shooting with Gale and looking at his work I can tell you that this is almost definitely a multi shot pano stitched together. Stitched panos are Gales specialty, he has even gone as far as to build his own pano tripod head mount.
Thanks everyone for the comments, yea it's stitched. Trust me it's wide also, just crop the sides off if it looks to cut off. I choose to show it as a pano keeping with my wider format. Printed big enough I think it would look good.
Bill yea it went there. Some leaves had fallen already but it was still pretty. Did you shoot the smokehouse?
My doc said I had a bulged disk from and injury that was probobly 10 years old. Maybe an old paddling injury not sure.
Yea Brian same local. Yours is very nice also. I had shot this back in Sept. and it was my favorite from the trip so I had to get it with even more color.

Hey Gale, glad you got this fantastic pano on Falling Water Creek before your back gave out completely. Man it is nice to catch color and water this year. We better enjoy while we can! Let me know if you get to feeling better and we can sneak out later in the week.

Mr. Pano, I'm sorry to hear about your back...Now you know the problem though and can be on the mend! I love your shot. I don't feel that it is cropped off at all. I do wonder though if cloning the little tiny area of sky up at the top wouldn't be a good idea. That's just my printing head speaking! It is just beautiful color! I hope we have these great conditions next year!
Back problems or not, I'm always amazed at your pano technique. Here's another great example of what you do so well. Kudos!
Praying that your back is feeling better.

Beautiful shot. The detail in the water is just right, and the colors are realistic. Can you give me more info about where along Falling Water Creek this was taken?
