Smokey Mountain Hotspot TODAY!
I Had a meeting in Konoxville today so I thought I would get a couple of hours in Cades Cove. "NOT!"...Arrived at the entrance to the Cove at 7am sharp. To my disappointment there was already a line of 45 cars.Gates opened at 7:30am and I headed in with the cow line for approx 2.5 miles and had enough. Turned on Rich Mountain and found a Wonderland of color. Better hurry...it will not last long with rain headed this way Tuesday. Turned down the clarity to give this shot a mystical feel...

Very pretty shots Harold. I like the "mystical" feel. Clarity adjustment can do some pretty cool things. Looks like you made the right choice to leave the herd and head over the mountain. I drove over Rich Mtn Road in the fall many years ago and remember it being beautiful. I'm going to have to do that again, maybe next year.

You have made my day with the sunburst!
