1D2n, 600mm f4 is x1.4TC, 1/640s, f7.1, iso 200.
Another pond image, this time of the only tufted duck to make an appearance for a few months. I hope the males return. Comments and critique always appreciated.

WOW! What amazing detail and such superb light.. For me this is one of the best images from so many stunning shots from your library. Superb work as always Ian. I keep looking at it and wonder if it's an optical illusion or does it need just a little CWR?

This is very smooth Ian, (smooth just came into to my mind, it was reactionary)
It's pose, it's reflection, the water and background make for this perfect picture ...
You must be very pleased with this

That little shaft of light is just spot on. A great looking duck image.
I so very nearly missed this having been looking after two of my grandchildren for the evening... I so so glad I didn't, what a superb trademark image, the central comp works, the light is great, the pose is fantastic.... I don't often resort to expletives, but.......
Immaculate Ian.
However, having read the title I was expecting a squirrel shot ! Now that would be an unusual subject for your pool technique !!! Perhaps with a snorkel?
