Since everyone has been posting their pics from this past weekend, I guess I better offer my contribution.
This is from near the bridge on the Cedar Creek self-guided (Pioneer) trail. Jon, Bill and I were just about to head in when we noticed the sun lighting up the trees and painting the water. I took several angles and perspectives, but I liked the reflections in the pools in the foreground on this one.
Thanks everyone for a great weekend, especially those of you who contributed to the wonderful meals.
I like the reflection of light right before the water drops down the cascades

I like it.
All these pics make it look like it was a heck of a good weekend.

Bryan, I really like the diagonal layering of the rock, stream and downed tree here. They lead nicely to the lovely colors in the water and b/g. Well constructed image.

Very nice image, Bryan. I never made it to this spot but will have to check it out next time I am there. It was nice seeing you and visiting on Saturday.

Love this Bryan! I saw that light coming in, but you guys had the market cornered on the best spot to shoot. Glad you got a good shot of it. I enjoy the reflection in the foreground too!

I like the water flow rendition on this photo at 1/4 sec.
Increasingly I'm seeing, in my mind, way too much flow. I think that makes a photo unnatural.
Some blurring is pleasing; not blurring is realistic; too much blurring tries to be a painting. Just me.
Nice capture.

LOVE this, Bryan! This was the shot I was hoping to get but the sun never cooperated where I was. I'm glad someone was able to get it and you did it admirably! What a great print this will make hanging in your office!

Really outstanding, Bryan. Love the composition and contrast between the cool gray rocks and warm reflection/sidelit trees. Simply beautiful.

Thanks everybody for the kind remarks. This is definitely one of my favorites from the weekend.
Larry, I know what you mean about the water flow. I like to leave some texture in the falls and cascades; sometimes I'm successful in getting the aperture and ISO I want and still have the shutter speed I'm looking for. Other times (due to water flow rate and miscalculations on my part) I'm not so happy with the results. But you're right, it's very much a personal taste thing.
Karla, we would have made room! I would have offered to knock Jon or Bill into the creek, but the splash would have messed up the reflection.
