I'm afraid this doesn't do anything for me David. Nice detail and well exposed etc but there just isn't enough of a focal point to grab my interest.

Nice exposure David, but I feel its too cluttered. Like Robert said there isnt a focal point to hold the attention. I dont know what the green bit is on the leg? I had the same problem today when photographing mine in that they were covered in little bits of hair and fluff when looking through the lens which couldnt be seen with the naked eye. Good luck with the future studio stuff.

Not quite up to your usual standard I'm afraid David in terms of composition etc.. But details is all there and exposure is good but just doesn't hit the mark. I'm not so keen on the Grey BG either as it doesn't compliment the subjects IMO.. Keep them coming though..

Have to agree with the others on this one. Not one of your better shots. I'm with Brett on this one, I not keen on the BG either. For me the shot seems too busy.

I tried to get away from the normal ladybird image. Craig was spot on with his comments as to why I posted it.:wavey: As to to the others , thanks for taking the trouble to comment even though it wasn't your cup of tea.
