I was glancing through a book called Photographer's Bucketlist (or something like that) and wondered what would be on your photo bucketlist? The book had concepts (unconditional love, classic romance, heroism, the wisdom of age, etc) rather than places, but i'm open to either one. I think mine would be Ireland in the spring. Thoughts? If you have a concept, what would that photo look like? How would you shoot the wisdom of age?

You know Amy this is a great idea. For me I think raw emotions are what attract my eye. No answers here, but you've definitely given me food for thought. Thanks Jeff

For wisdom of age, I'd take a picture of my grey haired ole self!!!

My bucket list:
1. Getting back to my wildlife roots, and letting those skills catch back up to my landscapes.
2. Go beyond making pretty pictures and start shooting conservation photography
3. Patagonia, Alaska, Ecuador

Patagonia, Iceland, Italian Dolomites.....to start.
But there is so much in the western U.S. that I have barely scratched.

Great idea - my bucket list would include: Antarctica, Aleutian Islands, Yukon, Nova Scotia, Norway, UK, Iceland, Czech Republic, Austria, and Greece. As for the US - I'd like to go to New England and to the Florida Everglades.

Good food for thought. I just want to get out and have fun taking pictures. Doesn't really matter where. Just want to have a good time and if I can help others along the way, then that would be great to.
Yosemite and the redwoods, Pacific Northwest, Zion, Grand Canyon, New England in the fall, Great Smoky Mountains, White Sands, Patagonia, the Dolomites, Iceland, Ireland, Scotland, Tuscany, Provence, the entire continent of Africa, the Himalayas, every tropical island in the Pacific, South America, Maui (again and right this time), the Big Island, Glacier (again and again). Not many, but it's a start!

The old European cities...

Western Scotland in the fall is near the top of my "dream" list. I wish I were a little better at the concept thing, but seem to enjoy seeing old and new sites without trying to fit them into a theme.
After all the US National Parks, my bucket list includes Ecuador, Galapagos Islands, Iceland, Nova Scotia, UK, and New Zealand. Although I've been there twice, I'd have to leave Canadian Rockies on the list for repeat trips.

Richard- of course a Southeast guy can join in. This convo was started by a Midwesterner. The more the merrier!

New Zealand, Norway, Italy, Galapagos, Antarctica, Hawaii, Canadian Rockies, Patagonia, Glacier, Yellowstone (summer and winter), Acadia, New England Fall, Smokies (Spring and Fall), the Alps, Alaska (again and right this time!), Crater Lake (tried twice and never made it to the lake!--too much snow), Bigfoot, the Loch Ness monster, and one last shot of Elvis.
