I don't think a SPOT would help much if you fell from up there.

This is gorgeous! What a beautiful view. I've not been to this spot either. I dont think I would get that close to the edge myself, but it makes for a great shot of your wife and the valley!

Thanks for the comments, everybody. Stacey wasn't really on the edge of the drop-off... the camera angle just makes it look that way. I guess since I was there, I didn't realize the photo suggests she is right on the edge.

that is beautiful john! love those glowing leaves!
Wow, what a shot! Love the framing and the glowing orange leaves. I agree - this is a perfect shot to promote tourism in Ark.

This is just beautiful, John! So much to like about the light, color, and composition...splendid photograph.
The water looks a little high to wade here, did you come in from the top?

All they had to wade was Steel Creek, way upstream where the BRT crosses.
Beautiful shot, John. Great composition, light, and color, and a spectacular setting. Your wife makes a much better model than my dog Junie, plus you don't get a ticket if you bring her into the park. You don't suppose ... Nah, never mind.

This is the best landscape shot with a person I've seen in a long time! This would be great for a travel magazine or Arkansas book.
