Separated-Whooper Swan+Pano
Photo showing this adult Whooper Swan who had become separated from the main body, looking around to see where the others had landed.I composed it this way with the subject low in the frame to give the viewer the best chance to see this amazing sky with its spectacular and beautiful colours while also seeing the story of this lone swan searching for the others.

Another nive atmospheric image Craig but I have to say your earlier one with the three birds is still my favourite. I think you can afford to lose some of the grey cloud at top. In fact having looked twice it may even work by cropping all the grey and leaving a panno shot maybe ?

Yes, I like that second version too. A real stunner.

Great shot Craig, the colours really are brilliant. I don't like the second crop maybe something in between with just a 1/4 off the top.

Reminds me of a benign version of a Klingon Bird of Prey battlecruiser.
I like the first as it is, but agree with Liam about a potential crop. Excellent image.

Oh I'm dithering Craig. Like both to be honest. I think the more I look though I prefer the pano shot. :wavey:
