Lilly Pad Room-Onondaga Cave, MO
The Lilly Pad Room is so named because the formations at water level resemble lilly pads. Personally, I think they could have as easily called it "The Colon Room" because the formation underwater looks like an intestine! Weird... The room was actually 2 rooms, and later I'll post the other side which actually has more "lilly pads." I liked the pond better on this side though.

According to the tour guide, this room is the most active formation in the entire cave and is only about 20 feet below the ground surface. Water was dripping constantly. It sure was cool to visit this cave and see a whole other universe.

Canon Rebel XTI, handheld
10-22 mm lens
ISO 1600, F4 @ 1/50, built-in flash

If I recall you were worried about a lack of flash. I thin a flash might have been a hinderance because there isn't much lacking in this presentation.
Good stuff.
Colon Room??? Sound messy to me.

You've done a very nice job on your cave images Angela, this looks really nice. I like the greenish color of the water in this one, I think it adds just that extra touch.

Very nice shot in difficult shooting conditions, Angela. I like your composition here, and I think the color and ripples in the water add a lot to this shot.
