Highline Canal
Well, I'm still trying to get out and shoot even though I have not been able to go very far recently. These shots were taken near a trail for the Highline Canal off of County Line road.

The first one could be called "Antithesis" because it's the exact opposite of the last rabbitbrush I captured. This one is more like the "Darth Vader" of rabbitbrush. Dark on the outside with very little alive on the inside, and cutting a swath of death ahead of himself.

Comments and critiques always welcome, and thanks for looking.

#2 could be called "The Holdout" because everything around it is going into dormancy and it just keeps on being green.

Number 3 gets my vote, I love the composition and the bokeh is very nice.

I like #3. I went ski touring on the highline today. The snow is melting fast.

Another fantastic and diverse collection, Morris. I wish I could "see" like this.

Number 3 is my favorite, but I think I'd also like #1 with a bit of the Norton effect.

#3 does it for me!

I know number 1 wouldn't sell as much as the others but I think it has more of an artistic feel to it.

I think the third is my favorite, I've really been enjoying your more intimate stuff as of late.

3 and 4 make me wish for your skills in creating nature studies. Excellent!

You guys are all very kind, and thank you. Scott, I took these last Saturday before the snow came, but I bet the ski touring was great. TC, I wish my eye could have created half the collection you have on your website in my time with a camera. Adam, I like where your head is at and I think I might have to try that. Dean, that is a high compliment indeed. Jeremy, you are very encouraging. And Don, there's a reason I don't shoot wildlife as I would look pathetic next to your work.
