Stoat, one from last year, brings back some very fond memories thanks for looking.

Lovely image Andy, had one run in front of me the other day-they move very quick!! no image so you have done brillant here to capture this, lovely pose and detail well done
Enjoyed these when you first showed them and this is no exception, a super image only minor thing for me is that I would tone down the greens ever so slightly....
Thanks for sharing another from your collection of these super little mammals.

They move like little rockets, I only ever managed one image a couple of years ago.
Super work.

Another belter Andy, you really haven't made the most of these stoat shots as they are the best I have seen and you have a big market for them.
Cracking image Andy. They are indeed difficult little beggars to photograph. Lovely expression on the stoat's face.

Thanks for the comments guys, their always appreciated
Hi Phil, your right about the greens, I always struggle to get them right, after making a pigs ear of the processing last time I tend to overcompensate with the saturation.
Hi Danny, last year Mark Hamblin tried to get a few of the Stoat and Weasel shots published for me, with the exception of one charity there didn't seem to be that much interest in them, so I haven't bothered since.
Cheers

another very nice Stoat image Andy. I was walking in Shropshire recently and a stoat suddenly appeared on the path about 6 feet in front of me dragging a rabbit by the scruff of its neck. It was having trouble moving it though and it let us watch it for a few minutes as it gnawed at the back of the rabbit's neck. It didn't seem phased by us at all but we eventually backed off a bit and left it to it. Amazing little things, the rabbit was at least 3-4 times the size of the stoat. I can certainly see why you enjoyed photographing yours so much (and why they were so popular here on UKNP) And no, I didn't have my camera with me
