Delicate
I've been trying to get a series of the pasque flowers in various states and have taken several shots over a period of a few weeks earlier in the year - kind of like a little project for me. Some may say that the flower is too central, but I kind of like it as it. C&C welcome.

I fall into the some catagory I'm afraid way too central,if it were much lower down this would be perfect.

Very delicate and very, very nice! You could place it anywhere - it would still be sublime.

I really like your approach here, Ian, a very skilful image. The central placement doesn't bother me here because the flower head is offset and it is the leaves that occupy most of the middle space. Very well titled and executed.

Cheers,
Chris

Very very nice. I'm not too bothered about placement either - works well as is because the colour fade from lower left to top right really accentuates the flower tones. This is a very thoughtfully made image. Nice one!

W  W I really like this one of the best flower shots I have seen Ian, I like the central comp as well but to be honest you could compose this in any way and it will still work so you are just best going with your own take and sticking with it.

Beautiful Ian. The central position works here as would a slightly higher or lower point. The isolation is what makes it as wel as the pastel shades. Sharp where it needs it.

Very pleasing to see. :toast: :toast:

Wonderful graduation between foreground and background here really makes the flower stand out - top drawer and I love it. Positioning works fine for me too.
