Elk Crossing
My brother and I spotted these Elk crossing the river when we were headed to our car after shooting some of them in Boxley. Fortunately we were able to get down to the river without trespassing before all of them crossed. Later that day we waited on the river bank hoping they would cross back for dinner in the next field, but they didn't. We ended up just sitting in the rain...

You certainly caught them positioned under some great fall color, Aaron. Beautiful shot!

I agree with Bill. Nice catch Aaron. The river, fall color and elk a great combo. You just need two bulls locking racks in the water.

Wow, how cool is that! Mike and I tried waiting out some elk once to cross the buffalo..it never happened, but I'm sure if you had a lot of time on your hands, it would happen eventually! It looks like you directed them to go under these trees! Beautiful!

Looks good, Aaron. Too bad they didn't come back across later.
