Moon over Walcott Lake
I ran out to Walcott State Park around 4:30 this afternoon to see if I could get the moon coming over the lake. I think it worked.

Well I did have to "beg" off at 4:00 today so I could get there. I am still at work now, paying for it......ha!

I'd say you took this at just the perfect time - right as the moon was rising up through earth's shadow. I love the color of that transition zone. Beautiful shot, Dottie.

Beautiful suttle colors Dottie. Looks like you got there in time! I wish I could have escaped, but alas, no. I'm glad you were able to get a good shot!
