Lime
While wandering around semi-lost,as most often was the case, I ran on to this wonderful emerald green site on a side drainage to the road. The county road I turned off on when I discovered it said it was going to Lime, if that helps....It was a great road that followed a creek, crossing it a couple of times. I turned around at low water crossing for saftey....but I wonder where it would have taken me if I had continued....anyone know?

I can't help you with the road, but the mix of the green moss and fall colors is very nice.

The only thing I can figure is that the road sign must have been referring to Limestone. Did you turn off the highway between Deer and Nail? This looks a lot like the area down in Home Valley. The creek here could be Home Creek. You may have turned around where the road crosses Big Piney Creek, then continues on to Rosetta. Beautiful shot, Joe.

Bill,
I think you are right. As I remember it was close to a place called Deer. At any rate, it was a beautiful drive in the fall and I am looking forward to exploring it further. Thanks for looking.

That is some nice moss and fall color. It sounds like it was way out in the middle of nowhere.
