Your 'mild creativity' has produced a deceptively simple looking image. However, as you spend more time viewing it the importance of the slow shutter-speed begins to dawn; a 'straight' shot would have rendered the image a 'happy-snap' instead of an intriguing interplay of landscape elements. Look how the detail in the damaged tree is echoed by the patterns in the water. Clever stuff, full of the spirit of the place.

Chris

One for purists to drool over - works on many levels and very clever shot: thank heavens for a windless day!! As Chris says deceptively simple but very effective indeed.

A clever image, and the more one looks the more one sees. The focal point for me being the centre circle in the swirling water, like it very much, especially with the added colour of the berries. Nice one.
