Does anyone have the profile for Windows for Hawk Mt Paper's Sharpwing Lustre for the Epson Stylus Pro 3800? It is not on their website. If so, would you email it to me? dlloyd@unitedhomeins.com Thanks!
I would second the Michael Gordon recommendation. He has done a couple of custom profiles for me at a very, very reasonable cost and they work great. Far better than the canned manufacturer profile.

I agree with the others about custom profiles, but might add a word of caution here that I would hesitate to have a profile made if the availability of the media is questionable. I gave up trying to order any sharpwing luster about a year ago. They still don't answer emails or phone messages, so I assume they have gone out of business. Are they still shipping sharpwing luster?
Good point. I ordered last December, but did not receive the product until February. Someone did call me about the order in February and they stated someone in the company had been sick so they were slow in getting the order out. But I have not had any contact with them since February. I only ordered 50 sheets, but I really like that paper! I was hoping to be able to get more and the profile.

7 repliesYou will get much better results if you have a vendor create a custom profile for this paper.
NPN's very own Micheal E. Gordon can create custom profiles at a reasonable cost. You can find info about his profiles Here.
Chromix also does custom profiles.

Thanks for the kind words, boys.
