Another shot from a sequence taken last summer.

All C&C welcome.

Nikon D300 with Nikon 500/F4. 1/1600 @F6.3. ISO 400, EC -0.7.

Nice Mike both in terms of the shot and the processing. For me I'd crop a bit tighter to the bottom of the neck to make it a real portrait as I think the body is in that in-between zone.

I agree with Mark regarding the crop. Body is definitely superfluous. An excellent portrait.

Hi Mark - is this more what you had in mind?

Sorry about the space Andy, but I was there to photograph small birds and only had a 500 mm lens with me. This guy came as a pleasant shock.
