For myself the only thing that can out do the beauty of the autumn trees maybe the wonderful grasses that cover our lands. May sound silly but I hold their importance near and dear to intimate feelings they seem to convey to my love of nature.
I have and will keep trying to capture the splendor of these flora delights knowing I will never run out of opportunities to do them justice.

Brad, this looks like the shorter leaves of Bluestem but I'm not sure--could be broom. I had some Bluestem in my small pasture that was about 7 feet tall. Its still there if you want some photos. Wind has played a few tricks but most is still standing.
Thanks again for sharing.

Brad, I understand your feelings toward the great grass fields that we have here. We may not have majestic mountains or sea shores, but nobody has tallgrass prairies like we do.
This is a very creative effect. Did you use a flash or how did you get that ghostly movement?

I like the light and the movement, and am curious like Ken how you did it.

Little Bluestem going through its annual parade of color changes. Lovely. Thanks for capturing.

Very nicely done Brad! I love the grasses we have as well, but I can't seem to ever do them justice in a photograph...this one does that though and does well!
