I have no Idea...
50D, 180/3.5, Benbo 1 + BH1.
ISO200, 1/15th @ f8 for both exposures.
ACR 5.3 + resize & sharpen CS4
slight crop for the two image stack.

Hi,

I am building up a large folder of these yet to be identified fungi, I have mislaid my usual guide, it should be on my bookshelves but its not...

I am quite fond of this one that is slightly over its best, I have images of younger specimens in the same group but this one seemes to have more character.

Very small BTW,, perhaps 2cm tall in moss....

All the best

Hello Phil.

Lovely looking fungi image and taken very well. I would agree that this does have alot of character over the more perfect examples we tend to go for and one I would have probably gone straight past for that reason.

I also think the DOF you have chosen is spot on.

Very tidy and well processed image Phil.
Now that the rains have come theres lots more to see of them.
Or at least in the East there is.

nicely taken Phil, I also sometimes like them slightly past their best as they do have more character. I've no idea of the species but would guess Mycena sp.
