Here is my rendition of the pause in the storm over Parker lake. Taken on a snowy hike with Steve, Mat, and Mike the morning of the fall get together at Silver lake. It was fun times. I post here because mat has already shown us his in ESS I may still post there a bit later. I ask your opinion because I have just sold a print of this that I thought looked a little flat. So I have made some adjustments to contrast, and saturation. Not too much, but enough to give the next print a little boost. Thanks for your thoughts.

With the snow of winter and the colors of fall, plus the cloud hovering low,
I like it. Well done, Chris.

De ja vu in more ways then one for me here, Chris. My wife and I hiked up here many years ago and we really enjoyed the wonderful view from this almost identical vantage point. Always hard to tell about the contrast and saturation at times, especially between monitor viewing and the actual print. I would say looking at this on my monitor your original correction was probably in the right direction as this looks very close to maybe needing slightly a bit more, again, not always easy to tell with viewing on screen such as this.

Looks beautiful, Chris. Sat & contrast look good. While processing I debated a lot whether or not to go with a centered crop or this one, and it's great to see this crop in its final form. I went with the centered crop but this works just as well if not better.
Nice job on this, Chris. I can appreciate the efforts you guys made to get these shots. I like how the two main peaks are peeping through the clouds. I also like the soft light and subtle color.

Beautiful Eastern Sierra image Chris. Certainly worth the cold and wet hike to get here - much braver than me, Paul and Preston in the comforts of the lowlands... :-)
Congrats on selling a print of this! Even from this small web version, this has a strong painterly look and feel to it that I think will have broad appeal - so it's not surprising that others will want to hang this on their wall.

Wonderful image. Great combination of weather and color.
I've never been to Parker lake and my wife and I were recently in the area. We did not find any color as good as this.
This is definitely on my to do list.
