I have some questions about gear, and I am hoping to bounce them off of someone.

A buddy of mine, Graham Casden runs Ocean First Divers in Boulder, and takes incredible underwater photos. Maybe he can help you out.

I don't shoot underwater, but my dad does quite a bit. If you have any specific questions, let me know and I can get some answers from him.

I was going to suggest asking Nat Coalson, since he's also had experience with equipment underwater, but he might not see the humor in that.

I still have my underwater gear, housing for my D300, strobes, etc as I use to live in Hawaii. I don't get out as much as I use to living in Colorado, but I'm getting ready to head down to Florida to do some dives in Jan.

Not sure what questions you have but I might be able to help out or at the least point you to some of my friends that dive pretty much every week with their camera gear.

Hi Koveh,

I do some snorkeling with my equipment during the summers mostly. I'm off to the Bahamas and Sea of Cortez this winter for some shoots that will involve underwater work... But, I in no way consider myself an expert! ;)

Yah, thanks for thinking of me Jim B.... where's the smiley with the sticky-out tongue...

Really, I'm interested in this subject, too, as I'm planning scuba certification this winter and lots of underwater shooting (intentional, with housing) next year...

Nat and Koveh, I am a Master Scuba Diver w/10+ years of underwater photography experience. Feel free to ask away, as it is a great sport and a photographers dream challenge that I have always enjoyed sharing with others.
