I shot this image on lark never expecting to get anything. But, with a little bit of cropping and contrast/saturation boost, I like the results.

What do you think?

Hey Dan, I like the change of pace overall with this image. I also like the side cut of the stone with the resulting exposure.
The only thing I would offer up for ideas would be to tone it down on the highlight just a small amount maybe, it could just be my monitor, but it seems just a bit bright.
With that said, it could also help bring out even more detail in the stone texture & granules.

This is nice, Dan. It's very subtle in its coloration, which I like. You might consider burning down the two light-toned spots in the orange area; my eye is really drawn to them. The level of detail is quite nice.

Dan,

Not doing a whole lot for me Dan. I like the soft color combo of the orange and blues and the texture is nice. What's missing for me is the depth and dimensions. I can see from the lines, change in surface and the "peak" in the UR, but dimensionally it is quite flat - if that makes any sense, and I think in reality the angles of the surface change quite a bit - but I could be wrong about that.

Dan, I usually like abstracts, but I'm on the fence on this image. I like the textures and subtle color, but its not on the same level as your typical images. Best Regards.

The general composition, colors and shapes are all quite nice and I can see why this caught your eye. Not sure what more you could do without making an image very different from the scene. It's simple but it works for me.
