All,

Let me know if you are interested in having another shindig in January. To those who are new (or forgotten) we have an annual party in January where we get together, share stores/pictures, food and a few beverages and the RMNP White Elephant(TM) giveaway.

The superbowl is Feb 7. So we would be looking for a date of Saturday Jan 23, 2010 or Saturday Jan 30 2010. Let us know what date you would prefer or if you have no preference.

Also, Brent is looking to see if we can have it again at Qube. No guarantee on that yet. Do any of you have suggestions of another venue we might be able to use if we cant get Qube?

For those of you who have been you already know what these are like. To newer memebers the party is a really fun event where we all finally get to connect and re-connect with new and old friends.

Look forward to seeing you all there.

Rene & RichieV

Yes! I would prefer Jan 30. :toast:

I am looking forward to it. Either date is fine. Count me in for the white elephant too!

I'll definitely be there. Another vote for the white elephant.
No preference on dates.

Qube is a GREAT location & centrally located. However, if that should fall through...

The College Hill Library (Location for the August 2010 group exhibit) has some VERY nice large conference rooms that can be rented for a relatively low fee. Food is allowed, but I doubt alchohol is an option. I'm sure we would need to be done by 9 PM. It's located in Westminster at ~ 112th and Sheridan.

Could the weekend of Jan 16-17 be an option? It's a holiday weekend for some (MLK day is on the 18th) and I (selfishly) would like that date so i could fly out. If that's not an option, I'll go for Jan. 30th.

I check in with NPN almost daily, but rarely participate. I hope to change that next year and would like to come to the 2010 shindig to meet some of you in person. Either date works for me.

Either date should work, and I am definitely in, if for no other reason than to see more of Stephen Weavers prints.

I'm in also. Any date is fine and the white elephant.

I'm down for the 30th.

I'm in, no preference on dates.

I would prefer Jan 30, but either date is fine for me. The white elephant sounds fun.

Either date is fine with me, and I'm in for the white elephant...

I've always appreciated Qube for hosting the event; unfortunately, I don't have any suggestions for an alternate.

There's a public building in a park near 26th & Youngfield that I think I can get for free through my dad. I'm not sure if it's big enough for this group, but I can look into it if Qube doesn't work out.

Jan. 30 would probably work best for me.

I'm in for either date.

I am in for either date but prefer the Jan 23rd date. Looking forward to it.

Sounds fun, count me in - no date preference for me...

Yes, Yes! Highlight of the year! I don't know if I have a preferred date right now.

I would love to go, since I haven't been able to the past 2 years. I can make it on the 23rd, but the 30th is not possible (have to work).

Where are you talking about having this, is it in Denver?
Posted by Aleksandra Miesak on November 15, 2009 at 12:11 PM
Last year was fun and I'm definitely in this year including the white elephant! My schedule should be a little less crowded after mid-December (or at least I'll just be busy in-state) so any date is good. I was planning on brewing some beer for the occasion so I hope we can find a location that allows for that

My preference is the 23d, but i can probably make either date. Look forward to it...

I'm definitely interested. My preference is also the 23rd. I will probably be out of town on the 30th.
Posted by Bret Edge on November 15, 2009 at 7:19 PM
No promises but I'll try to be there regardless of the date ya'll choose.

I'm going to try and make it. No preference. Enjoyed this year's; especially the infamous "Hair" photo.

I'm down with either weekend. I was bummed to be out of town last year but should be GTG this year! I like Aleksandra suggestion and could bring some homebrew too! :toast:

Either weekend works great for me.
Posted by Brent Doerzman on November 19, 2009 at 2:37 PM
Eric Vaughan- yup, this is in Denver.

I finally got word back that Qube is in fact available for us to have the annual shindig if we want. Woo hoo! That being said, if anyone has other larger facilities that work, that would be OK too. Either way is cool with me. One of these years we'll have to find a new spot as it seems to be slightly bigger every year. I'm glad to help out for sure though, it's always a blast at these things! Oh yeah, myself and Qube are open for either weekend!

Great new Brent, and a thank you to coordinating the space at Qube along with the decision makers for making it happen.

Either weekend should work for me.
Posted by Paul Martin on November 20, 2009 at 5:25 PM
For once I have nothing scheduled for either weekend, so I am in for either. I was bummed that I missed last year, but at least I was in Maui. I am also in for the white elephant.
Posted by Bob Falcone on November 21, 2009 at 12:01 AM
I really enjoyed this years shindig, and would like to make the next one.
Both dates are full on my schedule, but the 30th is more flexible, so I'll make that my preference.
Posted by Tim Visser on November 24, 2009 at 1:49 AM
I would prefer the 30th since I will be in a Lighroom 2 training class on the 23rd.
Posted by Jon LaBass on December 1, 2009 at 7:19 AM
Missed last year's due to traveling and would like to make it this year on the 23rd as I'll probably be traveling again on the 30th.

any decision on a date? need to buy my plane ticket. Looking forward to seeing everyone again! Had a great time last year.
