Double Rainbow on Mull
Canon 5D, Canon 24-105L @ 24mm, f16, iso 100, 1/40.

This is five images stiched together and as lost a lot of its impact at this sized. But I wanted to post it as it was one of the best rainbows I have had the luck to photograph. Taken on Mull last week and was welcome at the time as I had been on Mull for five days looking for otter with no look. But on the last day the otter treated me.

Thank for looking.

Beautiful Guy. Thats a superb capture. I didn't think rainbows had such a curve! It must have been fantastic to see and photograph. :toast: :toast:

Very impressive. It almost looks like a bridge. I can imagine this is one to be seen large.

Beautiful Guy

It must have been inspiring to view.

What a cracker Guy! I really love this, even the position of the rustic gate is spot on and the fence line heading to the centre of the rainbow. Bet the owners of that house would love a big print of this.

Cheers,

Lewis.

One of those moments that make all the time and effort worthwhile.

A cracking shot. I particularly like the way the distant mountain peak is at the center of the rainbow.

Hi...blinding landscape shot with a double rainbow. Ive seen this sort of thing several times myself, even at Elgol on Skye. The rainbows don't last too long normally (maybe different on Mull??). To join shots up in a pano and keep the rainbow and the overall mood - this is great. Better than an otter shot?

Love it.

Absolutely breathtaking! Apart from the obvious spectacular colours and the rainbow, the composition is just incredibly good. Leading lines everywhere, curves, interest in all areas. One of the best man and nature shots I can recall seeing.

Great photo, wonderful sense of atmosphere.
I do quite a lot of work at this house, have sent a link to the owners. Let me know if they get in touch.
