I just completed a fox news phone interview with Dan Springer.

The interview will be part of a story on the spot locator beacon.

I sent them a link to the pictures Mike Hall took of the location
but I'm not sure if they will use them.

I've worked with Dan before. It's been several years and can't remember why he would be down in this part of the country. Seems like he's from the Seatle bureau. Can't wait to see the story.
Hope your doing better! I never did hear how the camera faired out in all of this? :wavey:

If anyone hears when this will air, please post a memo. Hope all is going well, Ed. Thanks for the heads up. I will certainly be buying this device.

I heard the camera had more broken pieces than Ed did!

I'll bet their repair bills were about the same...

He didn't use you in the 8:53ct story. Maybe he will have another report. He talked about the problem of people activating the service because of stomach ache or other minor reasons.

Ed was just on the 6pm edition of the National Fox News Report. The report was really about abuse of the GPS locators, but it ended on a positive note with the proper way it was used by Ed, deep in the Ozarks. Good shots of Ed and a good interview by phone.

Mike, I did not see your picture of the falls. I have it recorded on my DVR. Anyway to get this to Youtube?

Not sure Tom. It has to be uploaded and I'm not sure how to do that from DVR. If there is a way to get it to your computor, that would be a start. I don't have a DVR and can't offer anything more. It would have a huge audience on Youtube if it can be done. It would help a lot of hikers and such.
