Tuttle Creek sunset
Saturday evening, I met up with Scott Bean while in Manhattan and he led me out to Tuttle Creek Reservoir for sunset. It was a beautiful evening, and the sunset colors weren't too bad :). At one point, he lent me his 10-22mm lens, and this is one of the images that I took. This is a three exposure blend, with small crop.

Very nice!

Besides the color, the texture of the rocks and the serenity of the water add to the composition.

Wonderful deep tones in this Rob, besides the great sunset the glow on the foreground rock is really nice.

Love the composition, details in the FG rocks and of course - the color. Nice work.

Nice shot Rob! I like the line the rocks in foreground form. Looks like the hike was worth it! I still haven't figured out why they had the road closed...

It was great shooting with you!

Really nice blend, Rob. I really like the soft light reflecting off the forground rocks. It's too bad abouth the jet streams, but thats about impossible to avoid in our western skys at sunset it seems.

Thanks everybody. Scott, it was great being able to go out and shoot with you. Think of the nice exercise we got hiking :). Ken, I was grumbling about the jet streams constantly, but tried to make the best of it.

Great shot Rob. Love that sky. I didn't even pick up on the jet streams until I read the comments.
