Oh no not another bl**dy water vole I hear you groan
One from yesterday the light was really dull but Ratty seems to like it like that and they were all over the place.
Its the first time I have got a swimming shot with a good reflection.

Your patience has paid off Ian, would a 'pano' style crop be more sympathetic to the image perhaps?
No need for a 'bubble level' on this one, guess I better get my one out for the future

That's nice, well caught, lovely autumnal reflections. Agree that a pano crop might also look nice.

I think so Ian, but might be tempted to scale down the 'branding' on such a format

Excellent behavioural image. Of the two versions, I prefer the pano crop, as it concentrates on the behaviour of this wonderful rodent.

Absolutely no groans - they are just fabulous, the vole is superb and the colours on the water equally so. I do prefer the cropped version.

Cropped version for me too. Not easy to get a sharp swimming shot and reflection as well
