Someone sent a really funny joke about "The Walking Eagle" award over the net.
I immediately thought of this photo.
Taken in 2006 on the S. Fk. of the Koyukuk River of northern Alaska. The immature bald eagle(?) had eaten too much of his share off a moose kill. He was walking because he was full of it and could not fly.
