Hi,

Out of my comfort zone again, with the severe weather warnings etc for the south I initially set of to try and get waves crashing against rocks, we did have 60-70mph winds forecast for the coast... well I stopped off for breakfast, had the high tide times wrong, took a detour, forgot where I was going... OK by the time I got to the coast the tide was receding and any chance of images that I wanted had gone...

After coffee and bacon sarnies with Tony I set off home, I noticed sunlight breaking through the grey and turned off to St Margarets Bay... May be not be great but I am happy with it.

Exactly what happened to me Phil. By the time I got to the coast this afternoon it was all over and done with. One or two others had the same idea.
However you have still finished up with quite a pleasing image and whats that on the water?

Major.

For someone out of your comfort zone you have done exceptionally well here Phil. The dark sky accentuates the lovely frothy waves rolling onto the shoreline, like it very much.
