My 4Runner turned over 150,000 miles on my recent trip to the 4 corners region. This isn't the greatest picture but it is close to where it turned over, on the White Rim at Canyonlands National Park. This isn't meant to be an endorsement but it is the best vehicle I have ever owned.
I drove almost 2600 miles and saw some nice county. I've posted some of my favorites of my trip at my smugmug site .
Thanks for looking and for any comments.

So great shots here, Ken. Sounds like a fantastic trip. On the second page third shot of your Canyonlands folio there is a great shot of the river ( Green?) between two bluffs that I really like. What was the vantage point and was it on a jeep trail or dirt road iin the park?

I'd say your Toyota is just getting broke-in. I sold my 1991 4WD Toyota pickup in August that had 470,000 miles. The guy that bought it drove it to Guatemala, where Toyotas are about the only thing they drive. I bought another Toyota.

It's neat to mark milestones along the way, I hope you have many many more safe and happy miles behind the wheel Ken. My 1999 Silverado is just hitting 180,000 all 99% trouble free, (I know I shouldn't have said that ) I am really curious as to how many more the ol fella is going to give me. One way to find out, drive-take pictures, drive-take pictures, drive-take pictures, you get the idea. I keep track of my mileage associated with photography and this year it will be around 6,000.
Have fun and be safe.

Joe, the shot you are referring to is of the Colorado River. It was taken from a short hike off of the white rim trail which is a 100 mile long 4 wheel drive road around the Island in the Sky. I only drove about 10 miles of it and it was just starting to get rough. In fact I didn't even use 4X4 except for going down the steep section.

Everybody should take the time to get a few photos of their vehicles in some outdoor settings; I believe they'll be glad they did.
