Hi everyone! I've been viewing your photos everyday for the past year or so. I finally decided to join. I've already posted a few photos, but I just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a seventeen year old, and I've been photographing for a few years now. My dream: to become a National Geographic Photographer. I got a taste of what its like to be a NatGeo Photographer this summer, when I traveled to Ecuador on a National Geographic Student Expedition. I was able to work alongside a National Geographic photographer, something I'll never forget. Anyway, thats enough about me. I am so excited to join all of you, and I'm sure my photography will benefit from your critiques. Thanks!

Welcome aboard Cam! It's always great to see young adults getting into photography, the earlier the better. I look forward to your participation in the forums.

Welcome Cam, look forward to seeing more of your work. I really like your image "Moonrise in Cotopaxi" especially the repost with the horse facing the other way and post cloned out, nicely done. By having the horse turned around now he looks like he is looking into the image and not out of it, big improvement. But I also think it might help to crop out some of dark foreground, carries a little to much weight and is just dead space.
What a great name for a photographer, tripod or not.

Welcome Cam. You sure live in a great place for Fall colors and rural scenes. I lived most of my life in the Binghamton area and then moved to Colorado in the 1980's, When I return to visit family I enjoy traveling the back roads photographing the old barns etc.

Welcome Cam. I remember starting off as a young student not that long ago myself so I wish you the best.
