Yay, nay, or why did you even post this?
Image taken late this morning from the first bridge on the Seven Bridges Trail in North Cheyenne Cañon. As always C&C most welcome.

Yay. For some reason there aren't a lot of snow images posted here and this is a good one. I definitely like the creek swirling through the bottom half of the frame and the textures of the trees on the top half.

Yay, but the bottom left 1/3 is a little distracting. there is a dark spot and the small branches make my eye wander. Overall though, it's a peaceful scene and good capture.

Hi DJ, nice work, but here's what I would have done diff. The sticks in the LL are distracting, and I would have shot at a lower angle to get more of the red rocks in the stream. Based on your settings, and the reflection, I'm guessing you didn't use a polarizer?

It's good to see a snow image as Joshua said, and I like this one alot. The bottom left twigs are a slight distraction, but my eyes aren't drawn to them too much. I really like the S-curve in the creek, and the snow/branch combination in the top half. Nice catch for handheld!.

I agree with Nick in that the bottom left twigs don't draw my eye too much. I think getting lower and closer to the creek would be an improvement.

I like it.
I've hiked that trail many times, and this reminds me that it's not just a good weather trail.

A nice winter scene, DJ.

Thanks everyone for the comments and suggestions. I was wondering if the LL branches were going to be a "problem". I considered getting lower, but more branches would have been in the way, and had I moved further to the right to avoid said branches, I would have been standing in the creek; something I wasn't fond of doing at the time.
@ Bryan: No, i didn't use a polarizer. I need to replace the one I lost awhile back.
