I tried to get out a fair bit this fall, but my timing was usually a bit off. Still I shot a few things I liked along the way. This one from Red Rock Canyon in COS.

This one in my own backyard as the scrub oak changed. You can't see it here, but all the leaves are covered in droplets of water.

Both of these are excellent!
Among the best autumn images I've seen so far. Sure do like the redrock behind the aspen grove and the detail present in the oak cluster.
I can only imagine what the detail in both would look like in any other presentation.

Both are nice. I really like the detail in the second one.

I also like them both. The seemingly circular flow of leaves in #2 is especially pleasing. Nicely done.

Thanks guys.
Here is a snip from the oak leaves image. Wish this could be communicated in the normal size, but like I said, it drops out in the resampling.
And John, if you're wondering why its the best fall color you've seen thus fall, its cause everybody's got the ringer in hiding for the fall colors contest.

How did I miss these? Really nice stuff, Mel. I would love to see a large print of these, especially #2. Thanks for posting the crop.

They all look great, Mel!

I'd love to see a huge print of #2. A detailed treat, I'm sure.

Both are good, but 2 is ripping!

#2 is the best of the two, but what do I know?
