#1: Looking back through North Window to faraway Castle Valley. Another one shortly at ESS.

#2. The La Sals after the storm. Don't ever let anyone tell you not to take pictures at 12:30 in the afternoon. That is all...

Awesome clouds and comps! 12:30 in the afternoon? You're making me a believer!

#2 ROCKS!!!!

Actually, they both rock!
I was wondering whether Moab was completely socked in this weekend from the storm.
Good to see you were able to get some excellent images.
*Edit*
I gotta tell ya that I think #1 is a much better image than the one you posted at ES&S.

I like them both. In my opinion #1 could use a bit more contrast, but the composition is solid.

These two are great. I have been taking pics at 12:30 in the afternoon for years. Glad to see I ain't the only one who does it.

Both are great Todd but #2 hit me like a punch to the mouth. Probably because I didn't bother to stop and crank off a few frames. Good work, Cloud Man!

I agree with John. #1 is imo much better than the one on ESS. Can't beat those lovely clouds. Way to go!

I just love cloud/fog shots from the desert. Here's another vote for #2. That should be on a calendar or cover of a magazine.I'm with the others in liking #1 more that the ESS image, which is pretty cool anyway.

The contrast and feel to #2 is awesome, I can see that as a front cover to a calander as Paul said. #1 is pretty sweet too, and I also prefer it over the ESS version.

Todd, Since I was there for both of these pictures (ha!), I really like #1. Others may not pick up on the the true mood and atmosphere of that spot that morning, but to me this shot brings out the serenity as we all stood in awe. I completely forgot about the arch overhead as the mountains in the back were calling...calling.....calling.

I really like #2--nicer crisp shot!

Love the dark blue skies in #2. Great work.

I'm never getting up in the middle of the night again - sweet shots!

Woah... those are awesome! It seems to me that conditions like that are pretty rare for the desert. At least in my experience. Well done!

# 2 is a killer shot . . . . .especially for 12:30 in the afternoon!!!

Looks like you hit the cloud Lotto! Marvelous work, TC!

#2 really pops-nice work with the blue, white and browns.

I really like both shots, but the first doesn't look finished to me, I'd suggest nudging the clarity slider a little bit to the right. The second shot is absolutely killer in my opinion.

Awesome shots Todd. I really like #2 the best...and at 12:30? Terrific!

These are both very nice, Todd! 2nd one is really outstanding. I think the first one could use a bit more contrast. Must have been an awesome morning!
