It was an interesting week again in the Fauna Gallery with many posts that deserve to be mentioned here. For me personally the images that really grabbed my attention are the ones mentioned below.
-’Fighting Bulls At Dawn’ by Craig Jones.
-’To dusty death’ by Stuart Williams.
-’Spickey the pet hedgehog’ by Edwin Katz.
-’Owl Monkeys’ by Rick Gomez.
Chosen for this week’s pick was Paul Marcellini’s ’Morning buck II’. Most of us will know Paul as a great landscape photographer. His landscape skills are also often clear in his posts in the Fauna Gallery as he likes to go for the ‘animalscape’ approach. His ‘Morning Buck II’ image is a great image even without the buck and features an interesting layered mountainous landscape in gorgeous light. The inclusion of the buck however, makes this image really come to live. Despite the relatively small size, the buck is still a focal point, which makes this a strong animalscape. Congrats Paul and thanks to everyone posting in the Fauna Gallery.
Thanks again Vincent, you guys in the fauna always give great critiques, as with the site as a whole. NPN has been my greatest tool/learning experience in photography. Thanks Jim!
