FYI, Theo Witsell, botanist and field ecologist with the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission, will present a talk on "Rare Wildflower Habitats and New Discoveries" on Saturday to the Flower, Garden, and Nature Society of Northwest Arkansas.
The event will be in the student center of Northwest Technical Institute, 709 N. Missouri Road in Springdale.
Social time at 9:30, with the talk starting at 10:00. The meeting is free and open to the public.

Bill,
Wonder if Mr. Witseli would like to spend the weekend with a few photographers this spring. What a great resource to have during our Spring meeting.
You could bribe him with your biscuits and gravy!

Hey, it's worth a try, Rod! I don't know if he would be too impressed with my B&G, but I could show him some lady's slippers.
I'm really looking forward to hearing his presentation, and will mention the spring gathering. I believe it's usually been the last weekend in April.
