Still pining over the fall shoot around Lee Vining. This was taken Sunday night while waiting for the full moon. While not as compelling as my other sage and rabbitbrush image posted a while back, I still love it when this landscape is lit by the fading light.

Colors, contrast, saturation? Any suggestions?

Not a barn burner, but still going through all the images from the last few months.

Thanks!

Lon

Great shot Lon, everything looks spot on with color n contrast.

I really like how the light defines the shape so much!

Lon, as fickle as the light was on and off during our outing, this scene obviously had perfect coverage.

I think this is lovely Lon, the subtle blues and yellows really make for a rich but delicate palette. Very nice rhythm too.

This is real nice, Lon. I love the patterns and color. Everything looks fine to me.

So...which god did you pay off to stop the wind?

Very nice Lon. The backlight really makes the rabbitbrush pop.

Well seen! All the technicals look good to my eyes. I think even a pano of just the top half would make a nice image too. Good stuff!

I too love the backlighting during late afternoon, just before the sun goes behind the mountains. I have yet to capture it adequately though.

Lon, I really like the range of subtle hues through out this shot. Combined with the patterns of the bushes it makes for a great image.
