Fortunate to get some snow on the La Sal mountains in Utah during our recent trip. Turret Arch is near the center of the photo.

Great shot, Larry.......love the snow capped La Sals in the distance. It all works here, however, I think I might clone out the vehicle or sign on the road.

Sharp eye Joe. I thought about cloning out the auto and may yet. I just thought since the road was there the car would add some scale for those not fortunate enough to have visited Arches.

I have been to Moab a few times. I think you really captured the essence of Arches. The La Sals as a backdrop, and even the autos give it scale. I am looking forward to any photos of Canyonlands that you may post. I think it is great.

Hi Jan,
I have some of Canyonlands on my site, www.OzarksPhotos.com .

Nice shot Larry, but I would prefer a vantage point that doesn't include the road. It looks like you must have been there about the same time as I was, the last week of Oct.
I would like to spend some more time exploring at ANP, there is much more to see than just the arches.

Wonderful light and weather. The snow covered peaks make the red rock much more dramatic.

The setting for this photo is hard to beat and in this capture I like the cool blues of the sky & LaSal's playing against the warm tones of the arches & desert. Great light!
