Red Kites in Rainbow
We've obviously had some awful weather of late but the birds are having to carry on finding food regardless. These Kites were soaring despite the wet conditions, then the sun appeared along with a magnificent rainbow. It was just a case of waiting for them to work across the sky into the right position.

1D3 300mm ISO:200 1/3200 sec @ f/4

Thanks for looking

Smashing shot. I was at Gigrin in the rain with a rainbow and lots of kites but this never happened! Dead jealous.

That's a great shot. The birds heading in opposite directions really makes it. :toast:

Excellent! I tried this once (not with red kites) but I couldn't keep detail in the rainbow - very well done indeed.
