Hey gang -
We're all set for the RMNP digital photography workflow seminar.
Registration is now closed. If your name was on the RSVP thread you're on the list. There will be plenty of seating for everyone.
Thursday Dec 3
7pm - 10pm
King Center Room 101
Lower level, southeast side
Auraria Campus, downtown Denver Directions
There's ample pay parking in the area; see the map. You could also park at a meter off 15th and walk over. (There might be free parking somewhere nearby but I don't know where.)
Sorry I had to shift the time a bit, but I am hoping this will make it easier for folks to get there after work, grab a quick dinner or whatever.
We'll wrap at precisely 10pm.
Your panelists:
Nat Coalson
George Jardine
Monte Trumbull
Grant Collier
You're welcome to bring a laptop if you'd like (sorry but no room for desktop machines/monitors this time)... and bring note taking materials etc.
Questions? Post them here. I'll be taking down the previous threads soon.

Would anybody in the Broomfield/Westminster area like to carpool?
Posted by Bill Pelzmann on November 20, 2009 at 7:29 PM
Jon, I'd like to carpool from Westminster.
I'm sure there are a few others in the area that could join us.

Bump!

Man! I wish I could get away for this--looks like it will be quite a treat! You all have a good time and learn a thing or two!

Anyone interested in carpooling from the Loveland / Fort Collins area? My car holds 3 other than myself.

Could join you as you pass through Longmont, Jim. Would that work?

Steven, sounds good to me.

One other thing I forgot to mention... there's another class in our room that ends at 6:45. Sorry for the narrow window for getting there and getting a seat etc. but you won't be able to get into the room before 6:45.

Well folks, how did it go?
Posted by Nat Coalson on December 4, 2009 at 1:20 AM
A huge thanks to everyone who turned out for the presentation tonight. It was a great group with lots of good questions and discussion points.
I'm considering doing something like this again and I'd really like to get feedback from those who attended... what worked? What didn't? What should we have spent more time or less time on? Overall, did the program meet your expectations? Was it time well spent?
I know these are a lot of questions to ask in this format, but I can't take the time to put together a formal survey now.
If you'd be so kind as to post your thoughts on this thread I would greatly appreciate it!

Nat, Grant, George, and Monte...Thanks for the effort you put into the deal. I really appreciate when folks take the time to share their knowledge and the price was definitely right. I've only been working with digital a few years so I'm still somewhat of a neophyte and I'm not a techie by any stretch of the imagination so, frankly, a lot of the material went over my head. I did get a comprehensive list of sequential steps in the general workflow which is very helpful but more importantly, I found how much I don't know and that's always a good first step in becoming more educated. I'll be signing up for George's January seminar when I get home tonight.
Thanks again for you efforts.

Thanks for the constrcutive feedback, everyone! I've also received some very good feedback by email... if you'd rather message me directly than post here, that's fine! It's all very helpful in planning future offerings.
