I don't know what it is about rain and windy conditions. They can certainly create some unexpected photographs. Nice to get some different results. The Skua in the shot showed an interesting character with the rain bouncing off his head. I found it amusing. You can kind of see what its thinking!

Thats a cracker Ian. The detail in the feathers amazing especially with the rain drops. I'd love to see this one large. Great capture.

Greay atmosphere shot Ian. Not sure about the crop though. Can't make my mind up.

I like this. The soft (and very flattering) light you get in these sort of inclement conditions is wonderful. And the eye contact really lifts this too, but the streaky rain and drops off its head are great. Nice one Ian!
If I was to offer a minor crit it would be (personal opinion) to crop the line of veg at bottom to throw more emphasis on the main subect. But that said I can easily live with it as is.

Possibly a square crop would work too? But I am not sure
But that said, I like this very much. Adverse weather conditions can give some very nice results as you have proven here! Great stuff Ian.

Works for me just as it is; lots of room for a title at the top too!
