Muddy Waters Blues
With the prediction of ample fog this morning I got out before work to see if I could capture a moody scene along Stranger Creek (Leavenworth County, KS). With all the rain recently Stranger was running muddy and only a thin layer of fog hung over the creek. But I came away with one image I wanted to share with you. Have a great weekend.

Love the mood, Wayne. Just the right amount of fog in the upper part of the scene and the saturation is great. Thanks for sharing. It will not be long before the snow arrives!

Wayne this looks much more like Arkansas than Kansas to me. I think you captured a nice moody creek image and hey I see nothing wrong with some mud in the water. We are nature photographers so why not capture nature how it really looks! Nice image Wayne.

I like this Wayne. It has a great feel to it with the fog in the background and the mud doesn't bother me any. Occasionally they are muddy!

Nice job, Wayne. The colors and fog are just right. I only know muddy creeks here in central KS, so this is normal for me :).

Well done Wayne. That's an interesting location too.

You caught some great light here, Wayne. Nice winter solitude feel - the water color looks fine to me too. And the composition is perfect as always. Thanks for sharing!

I really like this Wayne, the color and exposure are simply perfect.

Makes me feel like I am there beside you. I'm even checking my shoe for mud. (notice I said shoe as I am a one legged bandit for another month).

Thanks for posting.
